Good Society

Back in the days of the medieval Catholic church, it was common practice to sell indulgences, where someone could give to the church and theoretically a loved one's soul would be released from purgatory. This practice more or less ended with Martin Luther nailing his theses to the cathedral door and starting up another sect of Christianity called Protestantism, but if you could buy and indulgence in denim form I am pretty convinced Good Society Jeans would be it.

"Was that order for boot cut or skinny? And it says here you're a size 28."

Good Society on their website describes them as "a community of free thinking individuals who live for the greater good.We band together to inspire noble living, effect social change, and we prefer to do it in style. We are a fully sustainable, fully organic clothing company who cares about the world around us. We believe in simple living, contagious giving and freedom for all."
Their website features both Men's and Women's jeans made of organic cotton in several different washes and styles. The jeans retail for about $100, and 1/4 of the profits go to charitable organizations. Here are a few pics from the website:

Women's boot cut jeans, $109

Women's skinny jeans, $109
Men's slim fit, $109
